Privacy.
The short version: we collect what we need to talk with you and to train and certify instructors. We don't sell your information, and we don't run ads.
Who we are
This site and the TSM training app are run by TSM ("TSM," "we"), based in Austin, Texas. Questions about this policy go to hello@teachtsm.com.
On this website
- Visit stats. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- When you contact us. If you email us, book a call, or join a list, we get what you send: usually your name, email, studio, and your message. We use it to reply and to keep track of our conversation with you.
- The cost calculator runs in your browser. We don't save the numbers you enter.
In the training app
The app is invite-only. When your studio or TSM invites you, we keep:
- Your name, email, studio, and role.
- Your training record: hours you log, quiz answers and scores, audition videos and grades, and your certificate.
We use it to run your training, review your hours and audition, and issue and verify your certificate.
Who can see it
- The TSM team and the trainers who lead your training.
- Your studio's owner and managers can see the progress of instructors at their own studio. They can't see other studios.
- Companies that run our systems for us, only to do that work: Vercel (hosting and visit stats), Supabase (the app's database and file storage), HubSpot (our contact list and booking), and Google (our email).
- Anyone the law requires us to share with.
We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your training record while your account is active, and afterward as long as we need it to verify a certificate we issued. Contact details from people who reached out but didn't work with us are deleted when they ask, or once they're no longer useful.
Your choices
Email hello@teachtsm.com to see what we have about you, fix it, or have it deleted. If we must keep something (for example, a record that you were certified), we'll tell you what and why. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
Age
TSM is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes, we'll tell you about.
